Mother Goose games and rhymes like peek-a-boo help your baby understand language. So in this special camp, music and language partner to uncover new ways to say "I love you" -- using American Sign Language, soap bubbles, Duck Wash Mitt, and parent-baby dances. Meet other newborns and families and learn how music improves the child development process. Each day, you’ll take home treasures of musical inspiration for play at home.  *Materials include Barnyard Baby Duck Ball and Duck Wash Mitt.

Last 15 minutes: Play-and-share time.
One hour with adult.
 

Imagine a week at the beach! Children sing, move and pretend while learning about the ocean, sand, and seashore animal friends such as sea turtles, seagulls and octopuses! Sing sailor songs and make the ocean count. This is a delightful program that engages the curiosity,  natural musical gifts and sensitivity of young children, together  with a caring adult. Materials include castanets specially designed to look like seashells. Snack-time surprises are related to seaside adventures. 

In a van named Van Go, campers take imaginary musical road trips to the beach, a vacation cottage, and even a side trip to a  carnival.  Of course no van trip would be complete without all of your favorite camp and car songs, and the addition of new ones too!  Music accompanied by movement activities, dance and drama spark imagination as campers go on pretend hikes, play ball, and map their trip. Parents learn how children’s abilities to think, reason and express themselves are enhanced through music. Arts and crafts are related to each locale. Theme-related snacks too!
