Missouri Parents As Teachers (P.A.T.) and Kindermusik Agree Family involvement in your child's learning is a fundamental cornerstone of the P.A.T. philosophy, as well as the Kindermusik philosophy. Both believe the parent is the child’s most important teacher and the home is the most important place for a child’s learning to take root and grow. Kindermusik gives families the opportunity to nurture their child’s development both in class and every day! Kindermusik is endorsed by Missouri Parents As Teachers		Your baby may be rolling and shaking chime balls, swinging gently in a blanket, or dancing with you around a maypole. Kindermusik Village provides the natural activity and learning your child is ready for from the first days of life. With you at the center of her discovery, Village engages all of her senses and rewards her curiosity with object and instrument exploration, vocal play, singing, creative movement and a colorful literature component. Multi-level activities stimulate your baby to observe, imitate and learn. Parents learn how Kindermusik activities enhance development in every area of their baby's brain as they grow from a lap baby to a crawler to a walker!

Two brand new melodious themes await your Baby this fall. Classroom activities plus CDs, books and specially commissioned illustrated materials will delight you as you enjoy the Kindermusik experience.
Weeks 1 - 7 Zoom Buggy How many ways can you zoom? In a stroller, a wagon, train, rocket ship and canoe! You and your baby move in all these ways to help develop balance, strength and coordination, as well as vision and depth perception. You provide the special effects and songs—making the zooms, and the squeaks—that your baby uses to begin making sense of language and music.	Weeks 8-14 Dream Pillow Through the rituals of rocking, nursing, cuddling and singing, songs that will relax in class and lull baby to sleep at home. Leading up to sleepy time are upbeat and playful activities like swirling scarves in a dreamy cloud dance. You’ll play baby-appropriate instruments to favorite nursery rhymes and selections from other cultures and in other languages that enrich baby's ever-expanding mind.
*AT HOME MATERIALS* As the centerpiece of each Kindermusik class, the At Home materials provide you with the tools for bringing music enrichment into your home all week long, not just in a weekly class. The CDs include a powerful collection of music and activities. From longtime children's favorites to multicultural songs in many languages, you and your child are continually introduced to a myriad of sounds, instruments, tones, lyrics, rhythms and more, for the whole family to enjoy and increase musical abilities. And by utilizing world class, award-winning musicians, the Kindermusik stamp of quality remains unmistakable. Materials vary with each program; many include creative activities, children's literature, and specially designed instruments and play sets to complement the music and activities. Experts in music & movement have created Kindermusik materials and curricula.

KINDERMUSIK VILLAGE is a very special weekly music and movement program that creates an experience of learning and bonding for you and your baby.

With you at the center of your baby's discovery, Kindermusik Village™ engages all his senses and rewards his curiosity with object and instrument exploration, vocal play, singing, and creative movement.

The latest brain research confirms what Kindermusik has known for 30 years - cognitive and language, social and emotional, as well as physical development all begin in a child's very first days of life. Village stimulates your baby's growth through purposeful, engaging musical activities while celebrating and nurturing the remarkable bond you share.

For Newborns through 1-1/2 years: Kindermusik Village is for lap babies, crawlers and walkers accompanied by a parent or caregiver. It incorporates Multi-age Activity: introducing multiple levels of activities appropriate for the different stages of development in this age range. Environments with diverse developmental stages in the first 18 months create an optimal learning setting for both children and parents. You'll see how multiple levels of age appropriate activities stimulate babies to observe, imitate and learn.

Educates Parents: You'll have a wonderful time in Kindermusik Village classes, and you'll be surprised by how much you can learn while having so much fun. Throughout your classroom experience, you'll learn how activities stimulate development in every area of your baby's brain. Kindermusik Foundations of Learning™ are woven throughout the lessons to extend your knowledge about how your baby is growing and how you can nurture that development.
